Nothing is more abominable and abhorrent to the rule of law and detrimental to the ends of justice than the actions of some judges as rubber stamps for the prosecution.  Worthy of the name is the judge with a firm backbone instead of yellow mushy stuff in his or her spine.

Our federal government is a serial violator of human rights throughout the world, engaging in torture, trampling on the fourth amendment rights of U.S. citizens, and practicing a double standard of justice in its courts.   Anyone who doubts this statement need only read the statistics which show that blacks, and other minorities are subject to racial profiling, suffer more deaths by cops while unarmed, and are punished more severely than  “whites.”

In 1975, the California Supreme Court ruled that the equal protection clause of the United States constitution is violated if a criminal prosecution is deliberately based upon an unjustifiable criteria such as race, religion, or other arbitrary or capricious grounds. Yet, the cases that the public reads about with regularity show a double standard of justice at work in our society. Afro-American, Hispanics, and other racial minorities suffer the oppressive treatment by rogue cops and get away with murder, because prosecutors, and judges in a code of silence, do not apply the rule of law in an equal and fair manner. Only a committed and dedicated group of lawyers fighting against an entrenched clique can make a difference. I place myself in this category of litigants on behalf of justice and the rule of equal rights for all under the constitution.
