In the summer of 2014, I had the time of my life when I walked up to the Acropolis in the city of Athens, Greece to admire the Parthenon, the temple of Athena, the Greek Goddess. Iwalked the footsteps of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and millions of others who have passed through these rocky paths, and drank the waters of the fountain of Aesculapius, the Greek god of healing, which inspired me to continue fighting for justice on behalf of the downtrodden people in America, where racist abuse by the powerful against minorities continues to stain our system of justice.
Throughout my journeys through the Greek islands, I was always treated with politeness, respect and courtesy. The Greeks are warm and hospitable people.
